Do you offer refunds?

At Web Editors, we pride ourselves on our commitment and service to deliver web design solutions that builds meaningful value for our clients. If you’re not satisfied with your new web design or re-design project, we offer a no question asked 100% Money Back Guarantee if it is requested within 10 business days from date of order. If you decide that you do not want to continue with us, then yes we will refund you 100%.

Do I get full ownership of the website you create for me?

Yes. We automatically sign the Intellectual Property Rights over to you for anything we personally created for you if asked. This does not include software that has been built by a third party.

Will my website be fast?

Our customized dedicated servers are centrally located at IBM’s data centers in Dallas, TX. We have our web servers fully primed for WordPress + SSL. Short answer, yes you will not be disappointed.

What file formats are the designs saved in?

We design using the Adobe Creative Suite using mainly Illustrator & Photoshop. Once you approve the designs, we will send you the original editable design files, plus fonts, plus any other file format you need, including: .psd .ai .eps .png .tif .jpg etc. It’s your intellectual property to keep!

How does the payment process work?

WordPress & Shopify Websites:

Your project starts with a 50% deposit. After the design sign off,  we collect 25%. Once we have completed and fulfilled our scope, the final 25% is collected and your website is then scheduled for launch.

Logo & Content Development:

Requires an upfront payment.

How can we pay to get started?

Web Editors accepts all major credit cards including Visa, Master Card, American Express & Discover, whichever you prefer.

Are your web design fees one time?

Yes, our custom design services are just a one time fee. However, we do offer ongoing customer care services that opens the door and allows you to use us as an extension of your team.

How long does it take to get my website live?

Building a custom website requires teamwork from our customers and our project managers to complete in a timely manner. We have designed a streamline process for developing custom WordPress projects, but delays can occur if milestones that require your attention is not acknowledged on time. We can only work as fast as you allow us; turn around time is client-dependent. If client deliverables are provided sooner our turn around time can be significantly decreased.

It can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months to complete a project (depending on the size of the project)  and we will work with you and your workflow to complete the project to your satisfaction.

What other cost will I incur after the website design is done?

Always keep in mind that there are two important cost that every website on the internet incurs: Hosting – which is monthly and Domain registration – which is yearly. There may be other charges if your website uses any plugins for specific functionality to your website. These costs can be monthly or yearly depending on the plugin itself. Any plugins used on your website, if at all, will be fully disclosed before the start of your website project.

Do you offer content writting services for my website?

We add the content provided by you at no additional costs but we do offer an optional service for content writing at $150 for 350-450 words per web page.

What platform will my website be built on?

If you are not selling online, WordPress is is a preferred platform that currently powers 28% of the web globally from hobby bloggers to some of the biggest news sites online. Over 75 million sites depend on WordPress – with over 45,000 plugins that extend it’s functionality.

You also have the option to use the WooCommerce plugin on WordPress for eCommerce functionality.

If I don't want to update my own website content, can Web Editors do it for me?

Of course! We offer 2 Hrs per month website support built into our WordPress hosting plans that is designed to save you time and ensure that your website is updated when you need it. Additional hours are billed at $100 per hour.

We encourage our clients to maintain their own websites once they are live. All of our websites are built using WordPress or Shopify, so that you can effortlessly update it yourself, but when you need us to help you make that perfect layout or have questions with some of the features, we are here for you.
